In 2022 we founded tr-eat I travel & eat we are a provider of innovative food packaging and serviceware concepts to the travel and food service industry.
We are a devision of the family-owned business Maverick Product & Manufacturing Development which is founded in 2000 starting as a supplier for European non-food disposables and rotable products for distribution, consumer and industrial markets. The group was expanded by the addition of LS Plastics an injection moulding production company for industrial plastic products in 2005
Our in-house manufacturing is specialized in injection molded plastics and packaging. Environmental aspects and the use of sustainable materials are an essential part of our company philosophy. We supply a wide range of markets across the globe, especially foodservice, airline, catering and event industries.
Through combining our detailed understanding of the industry, our passion for design and service trends and listening to the customer’s specific needs, we create tailor-made innovations. With over 20 years of experience in manufacturing thermoformed and injection moulded products we are experts in providing our customers with reliable products that meet the most stringent quality standards
We can advise in the development process, from idea to delivery. We have extensive expertise and
a strong, worldwide supply base to tap into.
When it comes to a full-development case, the project is headed by a member of the tr-eat team.
The tr-eat team members have a very strong commercial and supply background, as well as a broad experience in leading the design process, explaining and giving direction on trend, themes and products. The design activity is the beginning of the product development process.
The commercial aspect of the process continues until the product is sourced, priced and samples are presented to the customer. The entire commercial process is a red thread, which cuts across all the processes; from design, development, sourcing, and supply to delivery.
Another approach would be to set up a co-creation partnership, linking tr-eat and the customer to a well-known designer or brand. This can be a very successful approach because all parties benefit from each other’s qualities and customers base.

We have a central warehouse in Dordrecht, The Netherlands is conveniently located in the near of Rotterdam, one of Europe’s major sea ports. Here the products are docked, stocked and transported.
The Logistics Department makes sure that the transportation of products from point A to point B is carried out in the shortest and most efficient way possible.
The main target of logistics can be divided into performance related and cost related. When decisions need to be made within our organisation, there is always a trade off between these targets.
tr-eat is committed when it comes to enforcing the clients' Supply Chain by encompassing, planning and managing all of our activities in sourcing, procurement, conversion and logistics management. We also coordinate and collaborate with channel partners like suppliers, intermediaries, third-party service providers and clients.
In essence the tr-eat Supply Chain Management integrates supply and demand management within and across multiple companies.
